Push, Nick Gant's Full Hero Costume

This screen worn hero costume was used in the movie "Push" in 2009. Nick Gant was played by Chris Evans in the movie. The costume consists of a sweater, a pair of jeans, a belt, a necklace, a bracelet and a pair of shoes. The sweater is a grey colored, long sleeved, cotton “Rag & Bone” sweater. The jeans are stored distressed, “7 For All Mankind Emerald Rice” grayish denim jeans. They are a sized 33 in men’s fit and they are frayed at the bottom due to filming. The brown leather belt is the brand “Brave Belt Works”. The silver pendant necklace is faux silver with a religious picture on the front and the bracelet is a wraparound leather cord. Lastly, the pair of shoes are faded black canvas “Converse” sneakers. The shoes are dirty and have been aged to look older. This screen worn outfit is a “hero” costume because it was used extensively during filming and it was the main costume for the character of Nick Gant. This costume was the most complete one that was sold. The wardrobe tag says that the costume was used from scene 27 to 109 and was change #2. The back of the wardrobe tag lists all of the pieces to the complete costume, including what boxers Chris Evans wore with the costume.
This outfit is seen in the beginning of the movie to the very ending of the movie because there were not that many costume changes. Nick Gant, Cassie Holmes (Dakota Fanning), Kira Hudson (Camilla Belle), and a group of other people with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities band together to stop the secret U.S. governmental agency, called Division. Division wants to use all of these people’s abilities to create a massive superhuman army that can control the world. If Division is destroyed then they will be free of the agency forever and Cassie’s mother will also be freed. Toward the end of the movie you can see Nick’s jewelry even better when he tricks Division’s head agent Henry Carver (Djimon Hounsou) into believing he is dead and the top secret drug has been used up. This outfit was originally purchased through Fangoria’s Massive Movie Prop Auction that was held live and the COA is through Premiere Props. “Their powers make them an endangered species because one push can change everything!"
