Following the end of the Great War and during the Crusade to save Earth from the Drakh biological weapon, the standard Earthforce phased plasma gun is gradually replaced with this advanced design 'Super PPG', featuring greater power, detachable ranging scope, light, and stun dart launcher.  Captain Matthew Gideon of the Excalibur carries this version in several episodes of the short-lived series, including Appearances And Other Deceits, The Memory Of War, and Visitors From Down The Street.

Five of these amazingly detailed aluminum prop weapons were reportedly created for the Babylon 5 spin-off series. Screw-fastened; can be completely disassembled and rebuilt.
