In the third issue of story arc Keys to the Kingdom, the Locke kids find themselves under intermittent attack by forces loyal to Dodge, as he attempts to locate the Omega Key. The Music Box Key turns on a magical singing machine, which can completely control anyone with its hypnotic melodies. Although only seen in a single-panel depiction in this issue, the key and music box play a much greater role later in the story.
