Alien vs. Predator, Mummified Facehugger
original movie prop
This is a mummified Facehugger used in the 2004 film Aliens vs. Predator also known as AvP. The film adapts the Alien vs. Predator crossover imprint bringing together the eponymous creatures of the Alien and Predator series, a concept which originated in a 1989 comic book. This Facehugger made of foam, was created by Amalgamated Dynamics and features a mummified and dried look to appear as if he has been dead for a number of years. This particular Facehugger can be seen in the film when the explorers enter the sacrificial chamber and you see the Facehugger fall from the ceiling.
