Deadliest Warrior, Mongol Glaive
original movie prop weapon
This weapon was made by my friend David Baker in Santa Clarita. This is the glaive or "Jatt" that was used and tested on the show. During the fight scene, they used the real weapon and had the comanche warrior snap the top off. This was converted to being a sword after that. Its made of high carbon steel and has a steel guard welded to the blade as well as iron sheet thats wrapped and nailed in place to make a grip.
