Gulliver's Travels, Miniature Shorts Grappling Hook

A grappling hook used in the production of the 2010 adventure comedy Gulliver’s Travels. This grappling hook and others like it were used as the little people of Lilliput struggle to bring down “the beast”, Gulliver, and capture him after he is shipwrecked on the Lilliput coast. Made of metal wire with string in the place of rope, the model grappling hook was used in the hilarious scene as the Lilliputians almost pull down Gulliver’s shorts.
The grappling hook has suffered some damage as a result of use, with flakes of black paint lost from the wire hook. However, in spite of this minor flaw, the hook remains in an otherwise good production-used condition, with the hook portion measuring 2cm (0.75") in length.
