Military Ensemble from Unidentified Production, Originally from Ice Station Zebra (1968)

Vintage original (2) piece ensemble including (1) thin tan canvas twill cargo jacket with drawstring waist, 2-front flap slash pockets, and snap button-front closure. The jacket also features a heavy, olive green wool hood lined with faux fur lining, red and brown epaulets with star embellishments, and a patch sewn onto the front left chest that reads \"CCCP\" in red type. Also includes (1) pair of matching pants with drawstring waistband and hems. The ensemble was originally worn in Ice Station Zebra (Filmways, 1968) by supporting military personnel who joined Commander James Ferraday (Rock Hudson) aboard the USS Tigerfish. At one point it was modified and became a Russian military ensemble for an unidentified production. Displays production wear and age with some discoloration and soiling that may have been intentional studio distressing. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Collection of Greg Jein.
