Independence Day, Miguel Casse's (James Duval) Coveralls

Despite the wardrobe tag stating 'All Changes', I think these were not eventually used for the movie. Miguel wears folded-down brown coveralls that are similar to these, but not the same. They are obviously scuffed/well used, however - maybe in rehearsals or deleted scenes?
