All custom made components. The sequins used are a custom color I commissioned from my sequin manufacturer. The color was achieved by sending vintage 1930s wine red gelatin sequins to them. The color was matched and then modified to be slightly lighter, as the gelatin sequins have darkened over time. This happens because the gelatin core turns brown and the silver layer blackens. The result is a beautiful deep red sequin that reflects back more pinks and purples instead of orange. These are being loaned to a documentary company for recreation scenes.
