Here is a Merovingian Chateau Showdown Shield from The Matrix Reloaded.

This beautifully ornate shield is made of fibreglass and has a wonderful silver and gold paint job.

Many of these were made as wall mounted decor in the great hall that this fight sequence took place however very few were fabricated to be worn in battle.

This is one of those used in the iconic fight sequence for the freedom of the Keymaker which makes this shield an exceedingly rare piece from a milestone film franchise.

Hard to believe this shield is almost 20 years old!
