Stargate: The Ark of Truth, Merlins (Myrddin) Staff

Merlin was an Un-ascended Ancient with many powers of a
hok'taur who arrived on Earth following the defeat of his people
in the first siege of Atlantis. Merlin moved freely among humans,
eventually becoming more of legend and myth.
He first appeared as did the staff in Avolon Part One Season nine
and various other episodes including the Stargate Movie The Ark Of
Truth.
