Dredd, Mega City One 50 Credits currency card

A Mega City One 50 credits card from Pete Travis' 2012 sci-fi action film Dredd, an adaptation of 2000AD's cult comic series Judge Dredd.

Set in a futuristic city beset by violence, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) teams up with a rookie cop to take down dangerous drug lord Ma-Ma (Lena Headey) holed up at the top of a tower block full of criminals.

This card and others like it were made for the production and were used by citizens within Mega City One to transfer money. These cards can be seen strewn across Ma-Ma’s headquarters, such as next to her bed after she has been shot by Dredd.

This card is made of plastic and features its monetary value, serial number, information about the card, and a metallic area which needs to be scratched to validate the card. The crest of the Mega City One Justice Department is superimposed on the card’s face.

The card features some wear from production use, including some scuffing and scratches, but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
