Star Trek: The Next Generation, Medkit (Shoulder-strap version)

This is a fan-produced item, made by me, of the commonly-seen medkit as used by Dr. Crusher on the Ent-D. Comprised of single-layer PVC foam board. What sets this one apart from my first attempt is that this one is based on measurements of a screen-used piece, whereas my previous build, although within 5% of the actual size of the screen-used version, was noticeably oversized. Also, the use of different materials (PVC foam board, instead of layered sheet styrene) allows for a much lighter build, and the ability to adequately round out the edges/corners to match the screen-used version (last pic). The storage compartment up top can hold all generations of Medical Tricorder (Mk VI, Mk VII, Mk X), though a foam lining would be required to properly hold the much smaller Mk X design. The completed piece will also include the storage compartment for a standard Hypospray and some medicinal vials. Still a "work in progress", it only needs an adjustable shoulder strap, a hinge for the compartment door and lining the Hypospray compartment with felt in order to complete.
