One Life To Live, Marty Saybrooke's Marriage Certificate

This item is from the hit ABC soap opera “One Life To Live” that started in 1968. Marty Saybrooke was recently played by Christina Chambers on the show, until her character was killed off. This item is a piece of paper that looks like a marriage certificate and it has Miles Laurence’s and Marty Saybrooke’s signature on it with the date. Marty Saybrooke came to Llanview as a psychiatrist with her son Cole Thorhart. Marty was once raped as a college student by Todd Manning, but ironically her son started dating Starr Manning. Marty was later killed in a car explosion and her boyfriend, John McBain was left to take care of Cole. This certificate was used on the soap opera in September 2007 when Marty Saybrooke finally was able to divorce Miles Laurence after he blackmailed her into marrying him. John and Marty celebrated by going down to the boat docks, folding the marriage certificate into a paper airplane and launching it into the ocean.
This item was bought at Disney's ABC Super Soap Weekend in November 2007 in Orlando, Florida. They have a huge prop and costume store opened for the event selling items from the following shows: One Life To Live, General Hospital, All My Children, and Night Shift. The wardrobe tag is also included!
