Citizen Kane, Marble Bust Of Dante with Stand.
original set dressing / pieces
An Italian marble bust of Dante, made in Florence in 1896, and seen in the last part of the reporter's walk through XANADU. At the time it was painted black, but two years later it appears in Val Lewton's THE SEVENTH VICTIM painted in it's present colors. It was also used in MISSION:IMPOSSIBLE and STAR TREK:TNG. The stand is seen in the art grouping at the base of the stairs and was later used in THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE.
