Mara Jade played many roles during her long and checkered career, including Emperor's assassin, smuggler, Jedi Knight, and Luke Skywalker's wife. She carried an equally varied number of sabers. This design was her third, and the first she built herself, used during her time as an Emperor's Hand.

 

As one of the most popular characters in the Expanded Universe, Jade was portrayed on numerous occasions by model Shannon McRandle, who provided this signature edition (not shown).
