Firefly, Mal's Pistol (TV Version)

This is a reproduction of the sidearm often used by Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the series. This is a second-generation casting of the actual screen-used piece. Castings of the TV series pistol are exceedingly difficult to come across as the screen-used original was essentially "destroyed" when it was retrofitted for use in the film "Serenity", and therefore no longer exists. Made of solid-cast resin, and awaiting application of the proper paints to accurately represent the screen-used original. The second pic shows the differences between the TV version (bottom) and film version of the pistol (top).
