Saving Private Ryan, M1 Garand rifle

This is one of the Live-Fire 'M1 Garand's' used on the set of acclaimed director Steven spielberg's Oscar winning war epic, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN. This piece is extremely heavy! It has been safely de-activated to current UK law but thankfully still features a moving trigger and safety. All wood is in good condition, along with the metal-work. The sights on this piece are of the 'BATTLE-FIELD' design. A great piece to own, especially as it is this type of rifle used through another one of my all-time favourite movies, JAWS.
