Xena: Warrior Princess, Longsword

This is a prop longsword made of heavy resin over a metal rod. What I find particularly intriguing about this sword (and ultimately the reason that I bought it) is that the pommel features the same concho design found on the pommel of Xena’s sword—just missing the central paua shell. The screengrabs are from season 4’s “Locked Up and Tied Down,” in which a sword of this style appears hanging on the wall of the Commandant’s office at Shark Island prison, and season 6\'s \"The Rheingold,\" in which a differently painted sword of the same mold is seen hanging from the belt of an unnamed Viking.
