One Life To Live, Llanview High School Halloween Dance Flyer

This item is from the hit ABC soap opera “One Life To Live” that started in 1968. This item is a piece of paper that a flyer has been printed on for a high school Halloween dance that took place in October 2006. The background of the paper is candy corn and it lists information for the students to attend the dance. The flyer lists that the dance took place in the school gym; the teachers needed parent chaperones and that Ms. Kowalksi’s school phone extension was #14. This school dance was a very important part of the show in 2006 because Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) found out that she had true feelings of love for Cole Thornhart (Brandon Buddy). Starr’s parents attended the dance as chaperones, so Britney Jennings (Portia Reiners) decided to embarrass Starr by making a mean slideshow about Starr’s father, Todd Manning (Trevor St. John). This slideshow included things about Todd’s past problems and information about when he raped Cole’s mother in college. Cole came to Starr’s rescue and defended her and her father from Britney. Todd looked up to Cole for doing this until Cole later took steroids and scared Starr. Todd never really accepted Cole after that and his anger resulted in Starr rebelling and getting pregnant by Cole.
This item was bought at the very last Disney's ABC Super Soap Weekend in November 2008 in Orlando, Florida. They have a huge prop and costume store opened for the event selling items from the following shows: One Life To Live, General Hospital, and All My Children. This item comes with a wardrobe tag included!
