Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Liu Kangs Dragon Form CGI scan maquette
original production material
Her my newest Addition and cool piece !!!
An art department maquette of Liu Kang's (Robin Shou) Dragon form used in the 1997 adaptation of the classic action fantasy arcade game Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. This stunning statue was created to be digitally scanned for the CGI interpretation of the character's legendary “fatality” move of turning into a ferocious dragon.
The hulking figure posed in an aggressive stand with wings spread high, and is crafted from fibreglass cast from the original clay sculpt, and has been decorated with metallic rust and green colours with paler highlights and black claws, white teeth and red eyes. The figure stands at 84cm (33“) with a static wingspan of 82cm (32.25“) and is 57cm (22.5”) deep.
