The House with a Clock in Its Walls, Lewis Barnavelt's (Owen Vaccaro) Dictionary, Decoder and Vote for Tarby Pin
original movie prop
It was based on the 1973 novel of the same name by John Bellairs, which was the first in a series of 12 books. The film follows a young boy, Lewis Barnavelt (Owen Vaccaro), who is sent to live with his uncle, Jonathan, in a creaky old house. He soon learns it was previously inhabited by an evil Warlock. From the 2018 film The House with a Clock in its Walls, this is Lewis’ Dictionary, decoder and Vote for Tarby pin seen at different times in the film. The Dictionary is seen multiple times when Lewis is studying different words and their meanings along with wearing the Vote for Tarby pin when given it by Tarby at school. The decoder is used by Lewis to help decipher the code telling them where the clock is hidden inside the house.
