Warehouse 13, Lens & Peppermill Artifacts

As second season finale episode Reset begins, Myka and Pete are trapped in Warehouse 2, which is rapidly filling with sand, soon to be buried again beneath the Sahara Desert.  Although they reach a portal in the ceiling by using the Wings of Daedalus, they remain trapped until the hatch suddenly vanishes in a burst of golden light.  Artie stands outside in the sun holding these two devices, urging them to hurry through; we're not told why these items, working together, could do what they did.

 

Large Fresnel-type hand lens of glass and metal, 23" (58 cm) in length. Functional 9" (23 cm) wood and metal peppermill.
