This Ledger allowed Andy Dufresne to keep track of the finances the prison was earning through Warden Norton\'s \"Inside Out\" program. Later, on Andy\'s escape, he took the Ledger with him and sent it to the local newspaper to expose Warden Norton\'s money laundering.
