The Relic, Kothoga Statue from the Mbwun tribe

This is an approximately lifesize replica (14" tall) of the Kothoga statue which is brought back to Chicago Museum of Natural History in a box packed with strange, exotic leaves. The statue represents the demon god Kothoga who is worshipped by the Mbwun tribe (in the original novel the tribe is called the Kothoga and the monster is called the Mbwun - "He who walks on all fours" - however this was reversed in the movie).
This replica was sculpted and cast by Kevin Gosselin and painted by me.
