Hellboy encounters King Vold, a legendary Norwegian beheaded flying huntsman, when assisting an associate of Professor Bruttenholm with some 'research'. However, the associate turns out to be mostly interested in getting his hands on King Vold's gold, nearly getting Hellboy killed in the process.
