Khalar Zym’s lightweight dual sword used in the Jason Momoa blood thirsty action movie Conan The Barbarian. The wicked leader set on restoring the Mask of Acheron to enslave all of Hyboria and raise souls of unspeakable evil from the underworld, can be seen with his unique dual-bladed sword throughout much of the movie.

Played by Stephen Lang, most famous for his role in James Cameron’s Avatar, the actor brings an undeniable sense of evil to the role and is not a man to be trifled with, especially whilst accompanied by his witch-daughter Marique.

The sword presented here is made from tightly pressed bamboo making it much lighter and easier to perform with over its hero aluminium counterpart. It has been decorated with incredible skill and looks exactly like battle weathered metal, and has a leather bound grip. Most spectacular is its ability to swivel either side at the hilt to create a deadly double ended sword over the already formidable ‘closed’ setup of two blades side by side. The entire piece has much evidence of its use on set with minor scuffs and scrapes and the occasional splash of what looks like prop blood. Closed, the sword measures approximately 88cm (34.5”) long, open it is closer to 163cm (64”).
