This isn't a real prop-replica. It's a toy. This is an old Playmates Klingon Disruptor that I upgraded. Basically I improved the disruptor by cutting away the plastic 'power rails' between the body and beak-nosed emitter head and replacing them with aluminum tubes. The toy was also given a completely new paint job, especially the silly see-thru red emitter section. Other than the added length provided by the aluminum power-rails, the upgraded disruptor is the same size (kid size) as the original toy and has the same two sound-feffects. I replace the original grain-o-wheat light bulb with a bright red LED.
