Warehouse 13, Judah Loew ben Bezalel Amulet Artifact
original movie prop
Also known as the Golem Necklace, this artifact is imbued with the ability to animate inanimate objects, but its effect is altered when inadvertently combined with a computer virus in third season episode Love Sick, now causing people to be struck down by turning them into clay.
Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel, also known as the Maharal of Prague, was a Talmudic scholar and philosopher who legend suggests animated clay into a golem, a mindless homunculus, to help defend the residents of the Prague Ghetto from antisemitic attacks in the 16th century. The story is apocryphal and can only be traced back to 19th century Germany.
One-sided metal pendant on a chain, bearing the Hebrew word used to activate a golem, 'emet', meaning truth or reality.
