Xena: Warrior Princess, Joxer’s travel bag

This is Joxer’s travel bag from the season 5 episodes “Eternal Bonds,” “Married with Fishsticks,” and “Kindred Spirits.” It is most often seen carried by Joxer but was also tied to Argo’s saddle in “Eternal Bonds” and laid on the ground next to Joxer’s bedroll in “Kindred Spirits.” It is made of approximately 8-ounce cowhide leather with the flesh side turned out to expose the textured surface. The inside is stuffed with blue burlap, presumably to preserve the bag’s shape. A great deal of it is adorned with solid brass ornamentation—from rivets to conchos to belt buckles. The bag was originally bought during the February 2002 It’s A Wrap! warehouse sale in Burbank, California. I was able to screen match it based on the placement of the rivets and ornamental conchos.
