In the backstory of fourth season episode What Matters Most, Artie and Claudia investigate a 15 year old homeless boy whose mind is being intermittently hijacked for its computational power. Until the artifact responsible and its user can be located, Artie controls young Nick Powell's unrelenting seizures by applying the sleep mask that once belonged to Joseph Stalin, infamous Communist tyrant and mass murderer. This mask was the only thing that let "that paranoid dictator sleep." Major side effect: Intense desire for vodka, lasting 30 seconds after removing the mask.
