In second season episode Threshold, former Maquis crewman and turncoat Michael Jonas uses this piece of tech to scramble and hide his brief clandestine transmissions to the Kazon-Nistrim.
Brushed aluminum, with black acrylic accents and base, and perforated gold metal details. Scrolling bank of green LEDs and 4 blinking red LEDs, activated by a small switch on the right.
