The deck comes with 47 different designs (52 cards total) including a custom "evidence card" and "brian card". The two custom cards based on careful study of the films and they should be the definitive evidence and brian cards. The cards are printed professionally on the finest linen textured card stock. I also got a custom box based off the box for the "viral deck".

Prop Story:

This all started with a little thing us members like to call the "viral" deck. Starting in 2007, the viral campaign for The Dark Knight gave away different joker cards for a Joker themed ARG. Though it is not known for sure, many believe these cards were made for production and were simply left over. The cards were given out individually in most cases but came from the studio in a complete set. The set included 47 unique designs and 5 duplicate cards inside a custom box. Very few complete, unopened sets surfaced (mostly on ebay or here on the rpf). It is believed that these sets were snatched from the promotional campaign.

The makers statement: "In creating this replica I enlisted the help of Mr. K who provided high resolution scans of an original "viral" deck. I designed the layout and text for the Batman Begins evidence card and TDK "Brian" card myself based on what is seen on screen. I also custom designed the box based off the design of the viral box art. Each card had to be set up for bleed and layout for the card company. This process took hours to complete as each card had to be dealt with differently. Call it a labour of love."
