Japanese Comissioned Officer Black Sheathed Samurai Sword

a rubber samurai sword used in the 2010 TV mini-series The Pacific.

the rubber sword would have been worn and used by the Commissioned Officers in the Japanese Army

this sword is made from hard rubber with an internal support and is moulded to resemble the hero metal versions.

the pommel and tsuba have intricate details and are coloured gold

the handle is made to look like it is wrapped in strands of leather thong to assist with grip over red layer beneath

the sheath is black and also features some golden detailing and a metal carry-hoop.

there are plenty of scuffs from its extensive use on set
