Bearing a mysterious metal shackle on his wrist, an amnesiac gunslinger Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) wanders into a frontier town called Absolution. When Absolution faces a threat from beyond Earth the stranger finds that he is its only hope of salvation and unites townspeople, outlaws and Apache warriors against the alien forces in an epic battle for survival. This is the hero light-up gauntlet worn in various scenes of the 2011 film, Cowboys & Aliens. This gauntlet would’ve been worn when the scenes called for it to appear as if it’s cutting on or powering up. At first it only seems to activate when the aliens were present but Jake learns to activate it whenever he is in danger. He acquired it when the alien leader took it off and put it next to him before experimenting on him and Alice. When he broke free, he inadvertently puts his arm in it and it attaches to his arm. The gauntlet also seems to have a very powerful energy cell and self-destruct as Ella destroyed the alien mother ship by causing it to explode. During the final battle, several aliens possesses the gauntlets and uses them to attack.
