In this remake of the 1987 classic, Dr. Dennett Norton and his assistant Jae Kim create the first cyborg from fallen Detroit cop Alex Murphy, starting with good intentions but quickly giving in to corporate pressures to make him more machine and less human.
Data device, with white plastic grip, machined green-tinted transparent acrylic display panel, and transparent vinyl display graphic bearing project information. Illumination, consisting of 12 small LEDs in the grip activated by a small switch on the reverse, does not actually light up the graphic in a usable fashion, but does give the far edge a greenish glow as seen onscreen.
