While Bauer uses a very wide variety of firearms in the series, he seems to prefer the Heckler & Koch USP (Universal Service Pistol) Compact in 9mm. I imagine the 9mm is utilized in the series for ease in the use of blanks; mine is in .45 caliber as I prefer more stopping power.
