24, Jack Bauer's Glock 19 9MM Pistol
original movie prop
This Glock 19 pistol with serial # FDF774 was used by the character “Jack Bauer” portrayed by actor Kiefer Sutherland in the iconic television series “24”, which ran from 2001 - 2010. The weapon is an actual live firing gun that was modified to fire blank rounds only for use on the production.
Mr. Sutherland utilized this weapon in “Day 5: 7:00 am – 8:00 am” (Season 5, Episode 1). In the episode, Bauer is living in the desert under an assumed name after the events of Season 4 and learns that former President “David Palmer” (Dennis Haysbert) has been assassinated. When his doorbell rings, Bauer grabs his Glock from under a couch cushion and peeks out the door to find his landlady inviting him to breakfast. He agrees to meet her later and hides the gun again before leaving his apartment.
While a non-firing prop weapon would have ordinarily been used in this type of sequence, as a serious method actor Mr. Sutherland preferred the realistic weight and feel of an actual Glock for use in the scene. The gun is in good screen used condition and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
