Fantastic Four, Ironhead Studio The Thing production concept maquette

Very excited about the arrival of this fella!

This is a production concept maquette of The Thing for THE FANTASTIC FOUR.

This maquette in particular was designed and sculpted by the legendary Jose Fernandez and finished at Ironhead Studio.

I won this maquette at auction last year however the existing paint job was not great.

So I commissioned Ironhead to repaint this to match the one that resides in Jose's personal collection.

This big guy stands 25" inches tall and is absolutely exquisite.

One of my favorite designs of The Thing as well, I wish they stayed more true to this design than what ended up in the film.

Jose and the lead painter were kind enough to sign under the base of this guy as well!
