National Treasure: Edge of History, Interior Map Tiles Prototype and Box Lock Mechanism

This is a one of a kind item. Entirely sculpted on wood. Fantastic item!

The above photo represents the first interior prototype of the on screen hero treasure map comprised of the three “ancient” puzzle boxes that were created for the show. The black square with movable dials was the original prototype for what would the top of all three boxes with functioning wheels that acted as a combination lock to open each of the three boxes that would reveal the tiles creating a functional map. This prop pictured above is the prototype only and was not featured on screen during the filming. But it is representative of what the final interior of the props that was featured on screen.
