The Innes Shoe Co. of Los Angeles, Hollywood & Pasadena were the original manufacturer of the custom pumps commissioned by MGM for Judy Garland to wear as Dorothy Gale in their 1939 blockbuster, The Wizard of Oz.  All pairs of ruby slippers, feature creamy kid leather lining and either an Innes Shoe Co. embossed stamp on the right instep, or a cloth embroidered label (only found in one pair of slippers). The Innes Shoe Company has been out of commission for decades and being a specialized shoe company, it's very rare to find a pair of shoes from this particular company.  

These authentic 1930's Innes Shoes were acquired and will be turned into replicas of The Ruby Slippers from The Wizard of Oz using all vintage materials, right down to the thread used for stitching, gelatin sequins & glass stones. Replica artist, Eric Decker, is making it his mission to build the most accurate replica ruby slippers ever created.
