Xena: Warrior Princess, Indrajit’s sword

A screen-used sword made of heavy resin cast over a metal rod, used by Indrajit in the season 4 episode “The Way.” This prop was one of a twin pair wielded by the six-armed King of Demons—in addition to two longer swords, an axe, and a dagger—in the fight against Xena in the form of the Hindu goddess Kali. As best I can tell, the design is inspired by historical scimitars of the Eastern world—perhaps a fantasy take on the Indian talwar but with a wider, shorter blade.
