Bicentennial Man, Human Fabrication Laser
original movie prop
Two hundred years in the life of an extraordinary robot are chronicled when the Martin family purchases an android named Andrew (Robin Williams) to perform menial household tasks. Before long, the humans (Sam Neill and Embeth Davidtz) realize they may be rubbing off on their domestic servant as Andrew, astonishingly, begins to experience human feelings and creative thought. His travels take him to Rupert Burns (Oliver Platt) and Galatea (Kiersten Warren) where he gradually transforms more and more into a human. This is the screen matched human fabrication laser seen in the film when Andrew is being made into a human. The scene shows the laser producing the material while the robotic hand is being covered with it.
