Da Vinci's Demons, House of Medici Horse Blankets and Saddle Cover Set

We have always wondered where in the series this set were used and never could figure it out, until today when we were re watching the series and my wife sees Lorenzo De Medici getting off a white horse after Leonardo rescues him and takes him to speak to his people in season 2 episode 2 Blood Brothers, my wife was saying man I wish we could have won that cloak and the rest of the costume he's wearing and then says or maybe that pretty saddle and blanket and then she says wait a second and rewinds and pauses the show and says hey those are the ones we have displayed in the living room!!!! And she was right, so we finally were able to place the blankets and saddle cover to a specific Medici and a specific episode, it makes it even cooler that they were used by El Magnifico Himself, we always thought these were used by maybe Juliano or Clairece or another Medici family member, so this purchase was really worth the price we paid now being it was used by Lorenzo De Medici... if you watch season 2 episode 2 and when Lorenzo dismounts the white horse in a mass of his people you can clearly see the saddle cover and horse blankets, it's a quick scene but I suspect these were used in other scenes too, I'll wait and see since we're re watching the series now
This is the ONLY set of Horse Blankets from the series that are Truly Beautiful and a true work of art. This set consists of a three piece set, first if a deep red velvet base blanket trimmed with golden rope cord, then the second piece is a very elaborately embroidered and embellished thick blanket made of deep red velvet and suede and trimmed in premium leather with embroidery done in gold and silver wire thread and other metallic materials, this is the most beautiful horse blanket I have ever seen and I grew up around ranches and farms and horses and this is a work of art, the third piece is something I have never seen before, it's actually a fitted saddle cover also done of velvet, suede and premium leather trimmed in gold cord and embellished with the House of Medici Emblem, this set is something you'd expect to see in a museum and has taken a prominent display area in our home, much like you would display an expensive tapestry of antique rug, pictures do not do this set justice
