Star Trek: The Next Generation, Hero Medical Scanner - TNG Season 1

This is a non-metal, non-blinking light-up hero medical scanner from season 1 of TNG. Two were made that did not blink and were made specifically for one episode (believed to be 'When the Bough Breaks') and were supposedly used by Wil Wheaton. This would also have been in the pool of props to be used in later episodes. A blinking version was more common. Eventually another version with green LED's circling the red one was introduced.
