The Chronicles of Riddick, Hero Meccan Rifle

This is a hero version that has a gas cylinder built in and an igniter that made the gas ignite in the barrel for a firing effect. For safety reasons part of the mechanism had to be removed to make it inoperable. Much of the rifle is metal with vacformed plastic parts. From what I can tell the core of the rifle is wood that all the other parts screw into making it quite a heavy prop.
This picture shows the excellent weathered paint job. There is a small switch near the top of the gun to switch on the electronics. The black part above the switch lifts off to reveal a battery compartment.
