The Spiderwick Chronicles, Hero Eye Glass and Seeing Stone

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a 2008 fantasy film adaptation of bestselling series of the same name. Set in the Spiderwick Estate; it follows the adventures of Jared Grace and his family as they discover Arthur Spiderwick's field guide to faeries, goblins, and other magical creatures. This is the only known hero eye glass kept after filming along with a hero seeing stone. The eye glass actually opens to allow the characters in the film to insert the seeing stone which allowed them to see all the creatures. You can see the eye glass/stone throughout the film; mainly during the scenes when Simon gives his sister Mallory the eye glass to take with her on the trip with her brother Jared. While on the run the eye glass helped her see the Goblins easier without having to hold the stone while running to Woodhaven Sanatorium to speak with their Aunt Lucinda Spiderwick.
