This is a replica dustbuster phaser that was the sidearm of choice during the fist two seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It has been fitted with Playmates cobra phaser electronics. It features one firing sound and a super-bright LED light in the emitter. It also has the same power meter that was used on the original props. It is painted in screen accurate colors.
