Gold-plated replicas of the time travel device given to Hermione by Professor McGonagall, and later used to save Sirius Black. Each turn of the hourglass takes the bearer 1 hour back in time.
The Noble Collection Time Turner is on the left, and a licensed Japanese version on the right. The Noble Collection one, made in China, turns easier and has thinner rings. The Japanese one has white sand and more intricate detailing. Neither is particularly screen accurate.
