Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back, Han Solo Limited Edition Blaster

The original Han Solo blaster from episode 4 was rented and returned to the company once the film was completed. As a result, the prop department had to completely rebuild Han's classic weapon for The Empire Strikes Back. Using an antique German "Broomhandle" Mauser pistol as a base, the prop makers also decided to change up some parts of the design. The muzzle was specifically machined to look like the fire extinguisher nozzle that was used on the episode 4 prop. The sniper scope used on episode 4 blaster was replaced with a M19 azimuth sight. The final product was then painted and weared to show extended use. Master Replicas was given access to never-before-seen archival materials and sourced parts to accurately recreate Han's iconic and reliable weapon. Limited Edition 858/3000.
